All Work and No Play

After what feels like a LIFETIME of being away, I'm finally back home where I belong. For the past week I've been in California for some training for my job. It was extremely exhausting, but we found some time to let our hair down in San Francisco. I had never been, but I loved every minute of the water, the people, the colors- EVERYTHING! Oh. Except the dead crispy animals hanging in the windows in Chinatown... that I didn't love.
Here are some highlights:

Chinatown:

Cool architecture:

Cable car rides (my first! It takes some muscle to hang on in those things!):

Boats and water:

And some work stuff from our fabrication center in Sacramento:

I'm really glad to be back. I'm looking forward to a long, restful weekend! But before I can do that, I have to get back to work!

I'm glad you had some time to enjoy the sights as well as work. But, it's good to have you back.

Hey, I want the arched red brick and blue & green tile entry for my front entry. Wouldn't it look great?
